  1. It truly is fascinating watching these people diligently work at trying to figure out just what question that you're actually willing to answer.

  2. In a universe with no afterlife of any kind, then a life sentence, or worse the death penalty, *is* an infinite penalty.

    All the Bible says God will do is impose a life sentence. The idea that those who do not earn eternal will *suffer* for eternity is not supported by the text. The references to fire are uniformly references to the incineration of refuse.

    Ignorance is not bliss, it's annoying.
