Hmm this reminds me of a conversation I had a while ago where the writer of an interesting (if poorly researched article) was making a reference to stoning and all the while ignoring the famous qoute about "he who is without sin cast the first stone". I honestly wonder how many of these people have passed any basic english course.

ReplyDeleteIt is called contradiction in the Bible.
That is why you have Christian group who say it is not permitted to kill under any circumstances (war: Amish etc.)
I honestly wonder how many of these people have passed any basic english course.
Your English is not so hot either.
MK that was a pretty pathetic refutation. I mean you have read the passage with that line about "he who is without sin cast the first stone?" They directly asked him about the law! Its not a contradiction at all!
ReplyDeleteRidiculous!

ReplyDeleteIf that is not contradiction why would people were stoned at all (since all are sinners)?
People were because there was one law saying stone for some offense and other saying not to.. hence contradiction.
"why would people were"
ReplyDeleteshould be :
"why were people"
I know Mariano loves his inserting his pathetic sic everywhere.
P.S.
ReplyDeleteNot to mention that "he who is without sin cast the first stone?" didn't help people alive before Christ's teachings.
I would like to point out that: "he who is without sin cast the first stone" is missing from early manuscripts anyway.
